She is a consultant for many multinational pharma companies.
She had worked at BFAD as a researcher and was trained in the US too.
She has her own pharma company, Lynx Nia Medica.
She's also into manufacturing.
Her son, JP, is Lynx Nia Medica's head chemist. He had worked at Nestle too.
Sir JP is also the Chief Finance Officer of Essensa Naturale.
Lynx Nia Medica provides all the non-food products of Essensa, which serves as a marketing company.
VP-Marketing Louie Ocampo handles the marketing task plus the food product manufacturing, being in direct control of the production for the 3 food products.
His family is into the food manufacturing business and this connection with Glomar, their family business, provides Essensa the needed capacity to produce Essensa's food products w/o investing on another factory for Essensa's food products since only 4 out of 36 products sold by Essensa are food products. The rest are non-food.
On the other hand, the Alcasabas family has its own plantation in Quezon province with an area of about 150 hectares where most of our raw materials are sourced such as the Guyabano, Mangosteen, Malunggay. The other rawmats are sourced from abroad.
The Buah Merah Oil is sourced from Japan through Dr. Nishigaki Toshiaki, the one who discovered Beta-Cryptoxanthin in Buah Merah. They also choose only the most potent variety (Long Red) plus his company pattented an extraction process that guarantees high-grade Buah Merah oil extract.
Essensa Naturale has the EXCLUSIVE rights to distribute in the Philippines this oil extract. Competitors who claimed they have Buah Merah in their product should present to its members where they are getting their Buah Merah ingredient.
Essensa Naturale, being a marketing company and food trader, in fact markets products from several companies. Some of which is the beauty products and other non-food products from several companies including Lynx Nia Medica, the coffee drinks and grapeseed oil from Herbs Central and Dr. Nishigaki's Buah Merah capsule.
By the way, CFO JP Alcasabas and VP-Marketing Louie Ocampo are inseparable as business partners. They in fact formed Esssensa Naturale. They used their own advantages for the benefit of the company.
In fact, both of them benefitted a lof from the partnerhip. Cheaper production cost for Essensa while Glomar earns a lot from the record-high volume. Right now, Glomar even released an official statement saying that the company will only accept Buah Merah product for Essensa. The competitors will need to look for other tollers or food manufacturers.
Moreover, both of them were involved in the setting up of Essensa as well as the creation and development of Buah Merah Mix itself.
